Toughened Glass

Our Toughened Safety Glass offer service of toughening wide range of glass:

•  Clear Glass
•  Low Iron Glass
•  Low-E Glass
•  Color Glass
•  Pattern Glass
•  Others

Toughened glass is processed by heating annealed glass to its softening point and then quenched rapidly. This treatment will make the glass with high surface compressive stresses while balancing tensile stresses at the center. The mechanical strength is thus increased and improve its resistance to wind load, impact and thermal shock.

Advantage of Toughened Glass:

•  Safety: when broken, tempered glass will shatter into small and relatively harmless particles.
•  Strength: Toughened glass is 4~5 times stronger than annealed glass.
•  Thermal Stability: With superior thermal stability which can bear 250~300°C temperature difference.

This type of glass is required in virtually every building project. We supplies toughened glass you can trust for a wide variety of applications, including doors, windows, roof glazing, barriers and other structural applications.

Laminated Glass

Laminated glass consists of two or more sheets of glass with a tough, durable interlayer, polyvinyl butyral (PVB), which is processed with heat and pressure resulting in a glazing unit that keeps the unit bonded when broken by impact , as the glass will adhere to the interlayer and generally stay in the frame , minimising the risk of injury from sharp edges and flying or falling glass and strongly resists penetration by the impacting objects or people.

Advantage of Laminated Glass:

•  Safety: Laminated Glass will stay in the frame when broken and prevent hurting and damage to people.
•  Energy Saving: With Lower Solor Radiation and prevent the loss of energy
•  Bullet resistance and anti explosion.
•  Noise Reduciton
•  Anti-ultraviolet

We can supply of laminated glass, annealed or toughened multi laminates with a PVB interlayer colored or clear. This resilient and durable glass can be used in a variety of different ways. Architectural glazing, Partition wall, floor panel, Stair treads, balustrades etc.

Insulating Glass

Insulating glass consists of two or more plies of glass enclosed by a spacer. Inherently, insulating glass increases a window's thermal performance by reducing the heat gain or loss.

At Dongfang Glass, insulating glass units are sealed with a primary seal and a secondary seal of silicone. Insulating units are designed to absorb stress on the unit caused by thermal expansion and pressure, provide a barrier to water and moisture infiltration, provide a gas-tight seal to prevent loss of any specialty gas fill and create a barrier that reduces condensation.
